I have known Beth since we were in middle school, awkward yet commonly bonding over music, boys, and a similar sense of humor. We have mostly kept in touch through the years via social media but it was SO awesome to photograph the special bond she has with her son. He has such a fun personality and I loved spending time with them on a beautiful day a few months ago.
In the meantime, Beth has been fighting a battle against lupus and is now in need of a live kidney donor. If you or anyone you know is an A+ or O- blood type, please visit her Facebook page for more info on how to donate.

I met this fun group of girls and guys at the ICC Horticulture Building earlier this month before they left for Pekin’s Prom. Talk about a beautiful setting! The light was perfect, the trees (finally) had leaves, and there were beautiful flowers in bloom everywhere you looked. Proms are turning into one of my favorite sessions to photograph. Everyone is all dolled up wearing beautiful dresses and fancy suits and they are all so excited to go to Prom. I love photographing the excitement and happiness that comes with Prom night! Here are a few of my favorites from this Pekin Prom session.
These 3 pretty ladies are some of my favorite clients! I had so much fun with them last year for some holiday photos and it was awesome to see them again for Megan’s first birthday. Mom had a super fun red, white, and blue theme planned out for her July baby and I just love how these photos turned out.
Happy First Birthday, Megan! I had so much fun helping you celebrate!
